Foster D. Arnett Jr. won the Knox County clerk's race with 75.3 percent of the vote, beating challenger Amy Henley Vandergriff.

The unofficial count showed Vandergriff getting 24.7 percent in a race that garnered the second highest voter turnout in Knox County.

"I feel pretty good about it," said Arnett, the Republican nominee. "I think we ran a really good race. We kept it clean and aboveboard, and talked about the issues and not personalities. I think that resonated with voters."
