Arnett Campaign In High Gear Working Toward August 7th Election
Greetings from campaign headquarters. I wanted to take time out to update you on the campaign.
I am working harder than ever, meeting with people all across Knox County and listening to their concerns. Knox County Clerk’s Office employees have picked up the pace in meeting with me after hours. I can feel the excitement from the employees about the expectation of election victory in August so we can roll up our sleeves and get to work! They are asking a lot of questions and giving me their views on the office and I am so grateful for their input.
Meanwhile fundraising efforts are going very well. I continue to talk to folks who believe in what I am saying and are supporting the campaign with their contributions. The campaign will be using the contributions in various ways but the main goal will be to get out my message of Honesty, Integrity and Openness.
I do need your help! It is imperative people turn out to vote, either in early voting from July 18th through August 2nd, or on Election Day. The changes in Knox County government the voters mandated in the recent February primary election will not be complete until the final vote on August 7th.
I can’t get into office without your help. So please tell all your family and friends to go to the polls and cast your ballot for Foster Arnett!
It is a new day in Knox County. The Knox County Clerk’s Office is YOUR office and I want the opportunity to make you proud of it!
Honor, Above All Else.
Foster D. Arnett, Jr.
Foster Arnett wins February primary election with 61% of vote
“This is truly a new day in Knox County with the voters saying loud and strong they want change of a positive nature and I promise to renew the honor and dignity of the Knox County Clerk’s office once I take office in September.” – Foster Arnett

Thanks for stopping by my website. Here you will learn about me, my family and what I believe in. While I was the Public Information Officer at the Knoxville Police Department I helped to author our operational philosophy and it was and remains to this day something I believe in:
Do the right thing
Do your very best each day
Treat others as you want to be treated.
I will add the following to the Knox County Clerk’s Office and it will be posted around various locations so the public (our employer) and our employees and I will have a constant reminder:
Honor, Above All Else
Honesty
Integrity
Accountability
Accessibility
Transparency
The Knox County Clerk’s Office belongs to the people of Knox County. After I am elected I will become a servant, a steward of the great trust the voters of this wonderful county will have placed in my trust. I will not violate that trust, nor will I ever forget that I work for you.
I will work with the employees of the office and help them to be the very best they can be. I will listen to you and your concerns and I will listen to the staff and their concerns. Hard work, working together, doing the right thing, honesty, integrity, it is all a part of who I am as a person. My parents instilled in me the highest standards and the voters of this county should expect the very best out of their government. I will provide the hands on leadership to accomplish this goal. |
